About the Client & Brief

Lily Hartley is a Nutritional and Health Consultant based in London. Lily specialises in helping people build healthy relationships with food and offers a range of courses focusing on nutrition, exercise and yoga. Lily and I worked closely, sharing ideas, creating mood boards and researching other industry related brands in order to establish a clear direction for the new business.

Solution and Outcome

For the logo and typography it was clear that Lily wanted to create something quirky, casual and laid-back. Together we explored a varied selection of handwritten & script style fonts. I created a number of concepts, some purely typographic and others with the use of graphics and symbols. The final decision was to use a purely typographic logo contained within a circle that would work with or without the strapline ‘The Wholesome Way’.

The next stage was to further explore Lily’s brand identity through the creation of the Lily Healthy website. The website features a strong focus on typography, a selection of Lily’s food & yoga photography, along with bold blocks of colour to give the site a vibrant and friendly feel. The website includes key information about Lily’s services along with a lifestyle blog and a selection of recipes. The website was built using WordPress and basic training was provided so that Lily can maintain and update certain areas of the site regularly with ease.
